Cigar Box Pochade

Updated: Jun 28, 2018

I decided I needed something smaller to put my pastels in for when I'm out and about painting. The Strada easel will be great for when I'm doing longer studies but I just needed something smaller for impromptu pastelling. So I set about renovating an old cigar box which I found in an antique shop on my recent trip to Morecambe. It was full of Lego and cost £1.50. All the old paper has been removed now it's time for a sand...

My new box will be ideal for evenings after work or to leave in the car. Check back later to see the results...

The box is now sanded and dividers have been cut out of some scrap bits of plywood.
